Directly adjoining Central Station, The Grand Central Hotel was originally built in the late 19th-century as a great British railway hotel. One of the city’s most prestigious buildings, the hotel has welcomed many famous guests including Frank Sinatra and Winston Churchill, throughout the years. Today, this iconic hotel is still a very much loved landmark in Glasgow’s skyline, sat within the hub of the Style Mile and at the centre of the city’s many attractions. This is why Style Matters are extremely grateful to have been invited to work on this fabulous new renovation.

Within the restaurant, Tempus Restaurant & Bar, sits a range of Style Matters furniture including fixed seating, Art Deco Stools and Nina Dining Chairs complimenting the stylish Scottish cuisine and culture. At the bar, Champagne Central, overlooks Central Station and evokes the golden age of travel, while Deli Central offers quick food on the go with a special focus on local favourites. Stylise tastefully designed the interiors with this in mind creating delicate feature walls and subtle finishing touches, block colours and Style Matters patterned furnishings making each room perfectly suited for meetings, conferences, events and weddings. Each room hosts it’s own style that complements the original character of the building.
