NEXT STOP, GRAND CENTRAL!

The iconic Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow unveils the results of a lavish makeover of its Champagne Bar, Champagne Lounge & Champagne Corner. Former Miss Scotland and TV presenter, Jennifer Reoch, helped to launch Champagne Central which overlooks Central Station in the heart of the city’s Style Mile.

From being dull and outdated to being transformed into a modern meeting point in the centre of Glasgow. The Style Matters and Stylise Design teams worked closely with Principal Hotel Company to turn this lavish makeover around in just 6 weeks, which meant we were all working full steam ahead to ensure it was perfect for the public on it’s opening date. As part of the opulent refurbishment, Champagne Central has upgraded its décor, created luxury new seating areas, exclusive booths, marble tables and an extended bar to cater for its extensive champagne and gin offering. Other making big changed that are sure to make an impact we wanted to accentuate the original beautiful domed ceiling, marble floors, and regal pillars to make them the centre of attention from the recent works and work to enhance the bar’s character with a nod to its rich heritage. Glasgow Central although now modern in its furnishing it still keeps some of the heritage that has made it so special.

Graeme Gibson, general manager of Grand Central Hotel, described how the “remarkable” refurbishment and the results will enhance its reputation as “one of the city’s most popular meeting places.”
