Luke Thomas,  nationally acclaimed as “Britain’s Youngest Head Chef” has returned to his roots by opening Luke’s Eating House alongside Gin Rickeys in the heart of Chester, nestled against the Roman city walls.

This follows successfully running both Luke’s Dining Room in Cookham,Berkshire and Luke’s Broadway at The Lygon Arms Hotel in the Cotswolds. His career started at the Michelin starred Chester Grosvenor Hotel, and he’s worked with Jamie Oliver and Gary Rhodes amongst others, as well as appearances on Junior Masterchef,Great British Menu and Channel 4’s “What’s Cooking?”

Style Matters partnered with Luke and Core Design to provide the furniture for his latest and most exciting venture, creating beautiful curved bespoke booths, an intimate Private Dining area featuring Archery dining chairs and a spectacular 4 metre long oak dining table. Edgy, luxurious bar furniture, poseur seating and tables perfectly complement the eclectic ground floor cocktail bar.
