Having previously completed the Titanic hotel, Liverpool, it was great to be reappointed the task of producing bespoke furniture for Titanic’s new £28 million hotel in Belfast. With an abundance of space, from 1885 Harland & Wolff were able to build its two magnificent Drawing Offices as a statement to the shipping world, where the Titanic and other ships were designed – now known as the Harland Bar. A space of brightness and amazing architecture, it was key that our furniture complimented the history and design of the building, yet adding in a touch of contemporary luxury. Bold blue sofas, pouffes and armchairs sit strikingly under the white arched ceiling. Complimentary brown leather bar stools are placed around the central bar, a consistent theme throughout both sites.
